Which ally? Who's making the accusation? Are they calling Gen McMasters a liar?

I posted this before I read the ongoing conversation on another thread. I've taken the discussion there. I'd delete this as redundant, but that's not an option.

As a former FDO. We release classified information to foreign governments all the time. One thing that the media doesn't seem to get is that in the USA, POTUS has the power and authority to release whatever information he/she deems necessary to whomever.

According to regulation, YES. POTUS is the ultimate authority when it comes to classified information. The article is blowing thins out of proportion to get people stirred up over nothing.

The commander in chief has the authority to declassify information automatically the moment he says it. This question implies that we knew he provided this type of information to the Russians. I'm skeptical based on source. And if our commander-in-chief did in fact share information; how do we know it was "without permission"? To much speculation.

We have seen this before. The magic bullet theory the liberals dreamed up after the Kennedy shooting in Dallas..........so that had to be a conspiracy. I've looked out the Texas Depository window myself and even a drunk Marine with a rifle out of zero could have made that shot it was so close.
