Letter From President Trump to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Denouncing Impeachment

Sadly, the letter never should have been drafted, let alone sent. It weakens President Trump's image and image is everything in political theater. Yes, this impeachment is nothing more than political theater. On the one hand, I would love to see the impeachment indictment dismissed in the Senate by a directed verdict. It is not worthy of a trial. On the other hand, I want to see the trial proceed inasmuch as it will afford an honest baring of the Democrats perfidy. The ground and respect they have already lost in the last few months will be a distant memory as they become reviled for wasting valuable time that would have been better spent addressing the nations issues as they were supposed to be doing.
