The story is interesting, but it only covers discoveries along the North American West Coast and the American West. Some time ago I saw a TV program which advanced an interesting theory that North America was colonized first by immigrants from Ice Age Europe, who travelled along the frozen edges of the sea ice pack that stretched from Europe to the St. Lawrence Estuary. Discoveries in East Coast states like Virginia have been dated back to 20,000 years or more, long before the western intercontinental migration. The theory also said that East Coast aboriginals eventually encountered their West Coast counterparts (of Asiatic descent) at some point and interbred. If one looks at old photos of Native Americans, one can see that some look like Asiatics, while others don't. I'd like to see more investigation into this theory.
