I read article. Space Force creation is basically a reorganization of existing military assets. We already had space related personnel and equipment, but it was spread out among commands within the different services. This is a consolidation and new branch is under existing department (i.e. Marine Corps is within Department of Navy, Space Force is within Department of Air Force)

I still find it laughable even though my agency is now officially part of US Space Force. I still laugh in meetings when I hear them say it aloud.

This is really cool. Will be really cool if it's 100% dedicated toward unity and helping other countries and not filling space with weapons.
