The Aussies were pretty bad, but the most evil of our allies in Vietnam were the Turks, fortunately I had the privilege of serving with the Aussies, Turks, and South Koreans, they all could definitely hold their own.

The enemy was scared witless if ROK troops were in the area and would Chu Hoi to us to keep from facing them. Never encountered the Turks down south, but if anyplace needed evil response it sounds like they were up to it.

Really impressive. I had no idea. I have worked with the Turkish military and they are pretty fierce.

Joint patrols with the diggers through the rubber plantations were interesting to say the least. The diggers and the kiwis were awesome guys and fun to be around. Great writeup find MSgt.
