I have some jackasses on FB who are so giddy about the possibility of a war due to their political views. I told those pendejos it is the SMs who suffer the consequences of politics.

SGT Philip Roncari - I would love to here your stories if you are so inclined. I do have a special place in my heart for Vietnam Veterans. It's just a thought that perhaps you can write down some thoughts and save it in a file or email. Maybe it can be your own personal project. I do that quite often if I think it is important enough to save. I have tried very hard to empathize. It seems like each Vietnam Veteran have similar stories, but their stories have their unique spin on them. They can't unsee what they saw, but if it is good, they find peace.

MAJ Ken Landgren- Thank you Sir,for listening to this old grunt and I’ve actually thought about putting some of my experiences on paper, files and Emails are far above my computer skills, so that’s a thought, for now though I find Rallypoint the best outlet for my experiences,it really helps to connect with people who understand and if I can help or give insight to others by those experiences ,that gives me peace,Phil.

SGT Philip Roncari - When you indulge in telling your stories, you can copy and paste your material in a file for later use. I find it useful in the sense that I can use the material again as opposed to writing it all over again.

Not everyone actually watches national news. You honestly can’t trust what you hear on cable news, and never believe nothing you see on Facebook. Both the U.S. and Iran will not escalate; Iran was just flexing to save face. The US was alerted by satellite pictures and was able to alert US/Iraq personnel in Baghdad. Plus, two were duds and the other appeared to aim in the general direction, but not a direct hit to personnel.

But the Ukraine flight flying out of Tehran was supposedly shot down by Iran, “mistakenly” according to the article on CBSnews. https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/plane-crash-us-officials-confident-iran-shot-down-passenger-jet-bound-for-ukraine-today-2020-01-09-live-stream-updates/
