I'm a little surprised they officially announced it.
Russia still denies they shot down that Malaysia Airlines plane over Ukraine.

They can't blame it on anyone else ....plus too many people saw it.
I have to wonder if it's an attempt to quiet down the angry crowds some. Many of the people on board were or were related to Iranians. The people have not taken it well, especially the lying.
