Educated Fools

This article cracked me up. A memeber of the progressive movement, which was founded by the educated elite and now holds sway over the Democratic Party, is complaining that they don't have close relationships with the uneducated masses? That's a hoot. The whole movement was founded on the principle that the uneducated masses needed a strong Executive Branch (headed up by the educated elite) to rule over them. Woodrow Wilson wrote extensively on the subject. As President, he was mortified that he had to depend on a Congress of the common herd to make laws that he would be required to administer. The wonder is that so many of the common herd (We the People) fell for it and voted Democrat. In our defense, we were blinded by propaganda such as the GOP is the party of the wealthy. Well, who is wealthy? Whomever is satisfied with what they have. The Democrats represent the common man, unions, minorities, et al. Really? What have they done for them? Well, if this article gets wide distribution, watch out for anyone dressed in professor's robes asking if you want to share a beer. (What? That's already happened? Oh, yeah, she did...)
