Joaquin Phoenix accepts the Oscar for Best Actor

I like him as an actor, but I couldn't care less about his political views, one way or another. I just want to experience the characters as they are portrayed without remembering a lecture.

I knew he was going to win when I saw the trailer of "Joker". So happy for him. He was always underrated.

Personally after listening to his acceptance speech and a couple of interviews after that, I don't think he has ever came back to reality. Some of these actors get lost, they play pretend so much they don't know how to come back to the real world.
