My old high school's baseball field was actually used by the NNL. The park opened not that long ago in 1950 with a Negro League game between the Birmingham Black Barons and the Memphis Red Sox. I think it was the Southern League
A movie about the great Satchel Paige was filmed there as well.
Kind of cool in a way as a lot of great players have stepped on that field. To have played on the same field its neat in knowing how every game played in the leagues helped as a force of change in integrating sports.
Good to see my old coach as well get his name up on the stadium and the stadium repaired (2013 tornado) and history preserved; well at least some of it - the 1984 State Champ signs are no longer.

I played baseball thru high school. I did not start due to my poor hitting. I usually subbed during the latter innings to preserve leads due to my defensive abilities. I no longer watch it. I view European football now. I served as a soccer referee X 30 years for U19 to U 12. Liverpool FC remains undefeated in all competitions.
