Good. If they are going to have invocations, it has to open to everyone. The BS of only allowing Christian invocations has got to end, for the good of overall society.

Another small piece of our national identity dissolving into nothing. Then people wonder why our national society lacks the restraint in difficult situations that we had years ago. I know people will bring up examples far and wide of situations going wild in the past; I speak of the overall tendencies of our society, not the extreme examples.

SFC (Join to see) just because things were practiced in the past (like slavery) does not make the right. Our founder's realized this when they escaped religious persecution not to go and set up a theocracy. And thus a secular constitution was written.
