And the people that have had the bureaucratic experience have done so well... He ran a couple of large commands (Navy Diving and Salvage), he'll be fine...

Read his Bio again he commanded nothing nothing bigger than a small clinic. He delt with Mission people and Budget at the same level as a Company Commander does

He at least according to the navy itself has never run a large of even medium sized command. Where did you get the idea that he had.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I should have read bio before posting and agree with you. Admiral Jackson is a brilliant doctor, but he has no major command experience.

LTC Eugene Chu - He seems to be both a great guy andf a great doctor, I just can not see how he has the experience to run something so big, especialy when the political hacks around him are so invested in destroying the VA.

You want to fix the VA? Convince Jeff Bezos to take the job of VA Secretary, one of the best businessmen on the planet, while providing, IMO, the best customer service on the planet. If only he could stay out of politics.
