I noticed no one responded to this post but it’s so close to home I wanted to comment, I was talking about Gulf War Sickness in the early 90’s on Tv, in person and in the newspaper. I’m glad they finally have acknowledged something and implemented thr PACT act, I don’t see how any military member wouldn’t qualify for benefits, fire foam and jet fuel are at every base. McConnell had nuclear missles but everyone forgets that because their mission has changed. I suffer from many of the symptoms in addition to the exposure second hand of agent orange from my father’s service, I am the only one of my siblings who developed several, cancers and other issues because for the remainder of their lives, they lived in areas far away from military installations. Surgery and chemo were my treatments, after 10 years since the initial correct diagnosis the same dr gave me the news I am now cancer free but still on chemo. The cancer might be gone but the damage is done and can’t be repaired, SSG Robert Mark Odom
