Interesting. I always wonder, though, if articles like this are just a a post-grad student looking to get some press. I'm nowhere near knowledgeable enough to be able to tell.

Just my own nerdery here, but I think what we will eventually find is that what we observe has less to do with matter and more to do with energy. Energetic matter does things. It is hot, it moves, it interacts with other energetic particles through ionic, magnetic, and gravitational means.
My personal theory is that dark matter is simply bosons and bigger particles that are either non-energetic or convey energy that we can't as yet detect.
