On March 8, 1965, the first US combat forces arrived in Vietnam on the beaches of Da Nang. My uncle John Reynolds was one of them.

My father and five uncles were in the Navy, two other uncles were in the Marines, one uncle in the Army, and I am proud of them all! SPC Douglas Bolton
