SSG Robert Webster
And neither does Adam Schiff, the current chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Especially since there is plenty of prima facie and circumstantial evidence in the public domain to make such an assertion and warrants an investigation.

SSG Robert Webster - Schiff was distracted from giving Ukraine his full attention because he was concerned by all the intelligence he was reviewing about coronavirus in China.
It is not his fault...

Provided all the comms are retained, there will be a hot washup later. Many lessons should be learned across the social spectrum. Distance everything, preparedness, economics etc. It will hopefully be examined and a strategy formed. If it's political, which is a near-given these days, then they should just run it through a super computer and proceed like they do for nuclear detonations and similar. I'd hate to be the guys programming and writing the algorithms, because of the $ impact of implementing changes to existing way of life to certain industries (Auto, Oil, Insurance). The bandwidth vs commuting cost/benefit might be revealing. Potential cash for efficient/mass transit - surplus for infrastructure (Jobs). Will require nimble management to shift product lines to survive. They at least have a previous model (pre-covid) to compare to current.

He doesn't need to defend the firing.
As a member if the Executive Branch, he serves at the pleasure of the President.
The President was not pleased.
