WWII veteran, wife of 78 years die on same day, hours apart

If it were up to me, that’s what I would want. 57 years with my soul mate, can’t imagine going on without her.

Seems almost like its written as a fairy tale. In the real sense it demonstrates that love and commitment to one person in marriage works. The motivation and love extinguishes with the passing of one such that the other no longer has the will/fire to continue. One can only hope and pray to find someone to share life in such a manner.
