Cops are not too bright, they need someone that understands sign language.

"Saunders told SBI detectives that Harris exited his vehicle and sprinted directly toward him with a metal object in his right hand. When Harris got within 2-4 feet of Saunders, the trooper fired one shot, striking Harris in the chest."

I took care of my grandparent’s place for about 30 years, with a deaf family living next door. They are good folks, but the husband would take advantage of being a deaf mute. In arguing over parking spaces and such I saw him grunting and get overly excited when confronting people. For someone who never communicated with deaf mutes, this can be quite unnerving. For years I believed he just did this to win arguments and get his way. When his daughters grew up, got married, and moved away, I saw them visit now and again. On one chance meeting at the curb, I asked the daughter about my suspicion; she verified how her father took advantage of people, and that her family was quite ashamed of it. I hope this wasn't the case for this man, and it cost him his life.
