Let me put it to you this way...I have aright to defend what is mine and so did he. He wasn't out shooting people in the streets, he wasn't walking up and down the street shooting protesters just because...he was defending his property and his life when a thief, not a protester, entered his space and attempted to rob him. I would have done the same. I told my wife that if I had a store the first one that came in would get shot...the next one would have to step over that one and get shot...until there is a pile of dead bodies and they get the message or I run out of ammo. Protest all you want, and I agree with protesting. But stealing/looting, shooting cops, burning down buildings is not the way to do it...doing one crime because of an injustice of another crime doesn't make it right.

SSG Matt Adkins - I'd roll the dice. If someone breaks my windows and doors and is entering my place of business illegally with clubs or sticks or knives or guns, I am shooting...at that point I feel threatened for my life and ot worry about the consequences at that point...may regret it later but I am not going to take the time to weigh the risks when someone is coming at me.

If you threaten someone you should not have an expection of getting away without injury or death.
