I have friends in this boat. They got their checks. Not sure Yahoo is the best arbiter of truth....

My wife is a legal immigrant, We've been married over 30 years but she has not wanted to get citizenship, she has a permanent Green Card. I got my $1,200, and she got her $1,200, the idea being she pays taxes, too, so she gets a check. If the immigrant spouse is an illegal alien, I don't imagine you get the money.

SPC (Join to see) Quite frankly, I don’t care who or what you are married to, but there are consequences fot what you do. All this government is paid for by current and future taxpayers. There is a provision for you to get your cash. Look it up. Further, it should not be available to non citizens. My wife and I were limited, due to income, was that fair? I’m a natural citizen that pays for my military retirement in taxes. Boo Hoo. Had they asked me, I would have said no stimulus for high income individuals. But, it is what it is, I’ll invest it and my kids and grandkids can use it to pay interest on the huge National Debt. Now I’m done with your whining, and will ignore you or block you.

Very mature. It said citizens would be blocked and you said “good.” I called you on that and you moved the goalposts to say that it shouldn’t be available to non-citizens.
Sorry to hear that you are such a snowflake that you can’t handle be called out. Go and run away to a safe space where you only hear from people who agree with you. Don’t trip on your skirt while you do so.
What disgusts me isn’t your viewpoint. It’s your cowardice. Go ahead and block me. You have nothing to say worth hearing anyways.
And for the record, I got the check and also was limited by income. My entire grievance was with you saying “good” to citizens being ineligible based on their marital status. That you still can’t own up to it speaks volumes about you.
