"Democrats" are not calling for anyone to be shot. A few angry people MAY be doing that, but that does not mean Democrats are.

Isn't that commonly how everything is portrayed when ideologies are involved? It applies to 'the left' and 'the right'. That "commonly" rises to "almost always" when partisans are involved and "without fail" if it is a someone towards the far edge of the ideological spectrum.
