I have slept standing up strapped to a pallet before...you get tired enough you will sleep whereever you can.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth: My husband has slept through a tornado and the tornado sirens. I couldn't wake him up, so I figure it's every warm body for themselves. He gets up in the morning and wonders why I'm asleep in the bathtub.
But if the cat walks across carpet in the middle of the night, he wakes right up.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - Lol!! I can see waking up for kids, but I still scratch my head when he wakes up because the cat is walking around. Like the cat cares if a burglar is coming in...only if the burglar is carrying a can opener would the cat care.

Amateurs.
I can remember cat-napping in Hueys when going from PZ to LZ, waking when the pilot flared or the door gunner started firing.
Then there was the time my girlfriend didn't realize how tired I was until she realized I was dozing off while we were standing in line at the theater...
