Maybe you should worry about what you did wrong rather than trying to videotape it

MSG Joseph Cristofaro they are trained and paid to use the minimum force necessary. The split second decision is the same that I faced overseas. That is not an excuse. If they screwed the pooch then it is what it is. No special privileges or different rules. I dont agree with your assessment and it sounds like a cop out. The parking lot was well lit and as shown in the video. You cant just get a gun out of thin air. Police are well trained to know the difference between a taser and a gun. It sounds to me like you would have acted in the same manner. 22 minutes to go from calm to dead is concerning. I also look forward to the DA's decision on charges against the ex-cop which should be announced on wednesday. The cop couldnt identify a threat to his life as you said and just chose on his own to end the life of mr. Brooks. All this being said, I see you as one of the good cops and trust your judgement in split second scenarios.

LCpl Brad Gross Wrong. I have friends who are LEO's. My friends that are LEO'S are of many different races. MSG Joseph Cristofaro in my view is a great LEO. I take issue with bad cops or cops who make bad decisions which ultimately end in the death of another.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro We may hardly ever agree on things but I appreciate when we can have meaningful dialogue like this.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro - I am familiar with (Graham v. Connor, 490 U.S. 386 (1989) and (Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985) and understand courts make decisions case-by-case. Now it's going to be for the courts to decide. If the ex-cop is innocent I'm sure he will be re-instated. If the ex-cop is guilty, I trust he will be given the appropriate sentencing.
