The autobahn was a NAZI idea, matter of fact POTUS Eisenhower got the idea for our interstate system from them. Guess we better fix up Route 66!!

The NAZI party did NOT fight a civil war against the Germans. They WERE the party of the German People, much like STALIN was the PARTY of the USSR.
I may NOT believe that they should be revered but at the same time, should they be vilified? Some were graduates of Annapolis and West Point. What they thought and felt is NOT recorded in most history books. Some, felt that turning against the South was Treason while others just couldn't justify taking arms against their brothers and neighbors for a Government that was distant (remember, we can NOT judge on the internet world against one where the fastest travel was the horse & train) and slow to respond to queries.
We must research history, not cover it up. These people were NOT NAZI's. They were Democrats and Republicans (yes, the NAZI was a political party).

I always try to say this. We can not judge the mindset of the past, with a present day mindset. Same goes for how war was conducted hundreds of years ago. We as a modern society have no concept of what it was back then.

I saw a video of some female saying "I am not a NAZI! I am a national socialist" I could not contain myself afterwards, that someone failed to teach my generation that, that is exactly what a NAZI is.......
