Pentagon chief confirms he was briefed on intelligence about Russian payments to the Taliban

He indicates he was briefed on "bounties" just "payments. From sources in the WH, POTUS was indeed briefed. However, multiple sources indicate that he shows no interest, nor does he really understand their importance, especially, when they contain vital info about Russia.
