If Schools Are Online-Only, Can’t They at Least Run Full-Time? | National Review

Why did the school board give parents the ability to vote and choose an option, if they were going to go part-time online only? With flat Covid rates in Northern VA, did they do this just to give parents the IMPRESSION they had a role in their children's educations? Taxpayers in NOVA DC suburbs pay very high taxes for nationally ranked public schools, not for 2.5-3 hours per day of computer-based modules. I won't be surprised to see greater groundswell support to defund public schools in favor of a voucher system.
