The only "mistake" I make is using grounds instead of beans. We could get beans and grind them every morning and we could maybe notice the difference. The people writing the article are coffee snobs. Coffee snobs are the worst kind of people, and everyone hates them...except other coffee snobs. If you don't hate them, you're a coffee snob yourself. And if you are silent about coffee snobs, you're a coffee snob. Silence is violence! Destroy all Starbucks!

We now buy raw beans and roast them ourselves. Turned out to be very, very easy to do. And the coffee we are buying is about $17 for 3 lbs. We can roast 4 ounces at a shot which will make 2 or 3 french press amounts (about 2 cups per french press).

I have never liked Hipsterbucks coffee, terrible aftertaste. Love my Black Rifle Cofee. And I do agree, coffee snobs are just that, snobs!
