Ok, has Congress submitted the budget for US Gov operation on 1 October, the new FY? Congress is always later in much of the last 20+ years... How can they worry about a post office that has funding well beyond 1 OCT....but not the military or other Fed Operations. I am sure federal employees would like to know if they will get furloughed for the holidays?

It does not matter if either the house or senate have passed an appropriations bill, it has to be passed by both and they have to reconcile the differences. (This is especially when each party holds ONE of the houses....) Until reconciled and has POTUS signature, they have not completed their mission. Thank you for documenting that ZERO appropriation bills have been completed.... Hey, they have about 5 weeks to complete what they have had a year to work on... Great work ethic....and on top of that, they are on vacation! Thank you for paying $174,000 a year for each one of the Congressional Critters. (FYI, how does your OER look if you do not complete your missions?)
