Good writeup. I saw a video with some reverse footage and it appeared they had Blake on the ground, but obviously not fully restrained, on the other side of his vehicle before he was able to get back up, walk all the way around the vehicle, and then attempt to enter the vehicle. He had something in his hand, but not convinced it was a Karambit, but who knows. Surprises me that three officers were not able to affect the arrest without killing him or letting it get to that point. Armchair second guessing. The optics though, do not look good, not only in light of the related Rittenhouse case, but in other cases where it does not appear the standards or consideration to shoot someone being taken under arrest are applied equally.

I thought it was a lanyard (key chain). It is very hard to tell. These cases are by no means cut and dry.

How many similar killings of a "white man" would the public tolerate? Some say they happen and are not publicized. Maybe so, as I haven't seen any videos. Think along those terms and we might understand their plight.

Why publicize videos if they do not support the narrative?!
