the question is not how much he paid - the question is if it is legal. Second, The New York Times has broken the Law by publishing his tax returns, the entity or people who leaked have also broken the law. There is no legal requirement for POTUS or any other elected official to publish their tax returns. Tax shelters, Tax breaks, and other tax deferments are legal. This is why the wealthy people have tax specialists and lawyers on retainer.

Politics aside, I do not know what he paid, nor do I care as long as it was legal. Every person who pays taxes looks for every tax brake available, those who don’t, likely don’t know how. There are perfectly legal ways of reducing what one pays. So, if it is legal who cares.
