If our citizens continue to accept the possibility of a civil war, all while blaming the "other side" it may become inevitable. We must find the common ground between our ideologies. We all know such common ground exist. We just have to be able to reach out a hand. BOTH SIDES!

A war of words isn't a civil war. It doesn't test the resolve, or what Clausewitz called the moral force, of the combatants. I remain confident that the vast majority of internet "warriors" (trolls) do not have the stomach for armed conflict in real life. The solid, thoughtful, and well-trained-in real-life group are far more likely to prevail in any real civil war, and everyone with a brain knows it. Those shouting the shrillest damnation of everyone who supports the 2A have no intention of coming to my home to take my weapons...they expect the government to disarm me for them.

I agree with you to a point, Antifa and Black Lives Matter have proven over the last year that they will use physical violence, in addition to some smaller organizations.

We are in the midst of what I refer to as "The US Incivility War". I have a published article on Research Gate by this title and I outline the "Toxic Recipe". I predict it is escalating to increased armed conflict. I can send a copy of my article to anyone who is interested. Contact me " [login to see] "
