Interesting, but there is a problem about Disney and other theme parks in plain site but it is not being reported on in this or most other articles in this vein. Check out the statement extracted from the story below:
But no outbreaks have been reported at Disney, Universal, Sea-World, Busch Gardens, Six Flags, Legoland and Cedar Fair parks in Florida, Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Virginia and Michigan, according to state health agencies and theme park officials.

What it doesn't say in the article and like articles - Are they tracking/tracing the visitors once they get home.

Yes in that contact tracing if you test positive includes your activities, contacts and where you have been.

There is a reason why theme parks are not reporting cases. They put a sign up that said no Covid-19 allowed yo the virus leaves the body and waits outside till their host returns.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Which part? And is Disney doing the contact tracing or is someone else supposedly doing it? Another thing, currently it is almost statistically impossible for someone that went to Disneyland or another theme part to not become infected within two weeks of having been there. And just because they try to do everything correctly does not mean that they were not, are not, or shortly will not become a source point. Look at some of the other situations (not including hospitals) that have done all of the "correct" procedures and processes that have become hot spots. What the key point probably is -they do not have the traffic, and that is alluded to in the last paragraph and sentence in that article. THAT is the difference, not all of the precautions that they have taken.

Some of us did not fall off the turnip truck yesterday.

I'll disagree with you that the election is over. However, regarding COVID19. There is no way to stop it. You can't control a virus. It will be with us just like the flu. Just look at Italy. They did everything to "control" the virus, yet it still failed. The media has hyped this out of control just like they do everything else. Time to rip the band aid off and reopen the country.

I'll disagree that they did everything to "control" it. They did some things but failed to follow through for long enough and your rip the bandaid off and reopen the country attitude is exactly why. Oh and you can control a virus; polio is a virus, HIV is a virus, chicken pox is a virus, measles is a virus.............

I find it interesting the article uses these words:

"...But, in the midst of a pandemic, companies large and small are trying to figure out how to enforce face mask and social-distancing guidelines without angering their customers..."

Yet, my grandson and I took a flight in early October 2020 to attend the funderal of a fellow veteran and dear friend of > 50 yrs. Social distancing in airports and on airplanes actually DOES NOT EXIST! Wearing of masks is enforced, even to the extend of the type and design of mask depending on the airline you are traveling.

So it begs the question, while we are talking about controling the spread of this disease, it becomes interesting that we are PACKING people into aircraft. What are some short term solutions? I ahve some thoughts, but I'd like to hear from those on RP!

Airplanes are really a poor example on packing people in. The air circulation in an aircraft is far superior to anything we find in most buildings where things like stores, restaurants or bars are located. Plus since the pandemic many airlines have started running their air systems before passengers even start boarding. As long as all passengers wear masks throughout the trip I'd feel much safer in a packed airplane than in a restaurant where the concept of increasing air circulation is to open another window.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Considering the restaurant with open windows... Questionable action to begin with.

SSG Robert Webster Point is most buildings do not have air handling systems like airplanes. Packed into a restaurant or bar is just plain dumb until the virus is under control. Going back to the original post do what you can to break even and keep your business running, don't complain about how complicated it may be.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Not a mask in sight, and you claim that mask are universally worn. Get a better picture.
