Here is another story about Tarawa. Mark Noah a private American was researching and looking for bodies at Tarawa. When he approached the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency it treated him like shit. The agency was hostile toward him. Eventually the agency became unassed and worked with Mr. Noah. I believe he personally found 200 Marine bodies buried in Tarawa.
