When they threw me in the Warrior Transition Battalion post Iraq they had a rep from social security there and did all the paperwork for me. If the Army is retiring you against your will and saying you’re no longer physically able to fix helicopters that meant we qualified for social security. The guilty feeling didn’t last very long.
