Michigan law decrees a limited # of citizens in a house until Gov Whitmer’s Covid Lockdown order expires Dec. 7. (IF it does). That rule effectively shuts down large family gatherings and disrupts plans. So Michiganders have been getting creative with our limited freedoms for socializing. Since more people are allowed at funerals, some Michiganders will be hosting “funerals” today.
0705 My turkey is being laid to rest in his coffin. Mourners will arrive in the afternoon. Food and drink will be served after a brief memorial.

I think many are scaling back their plans this year. Due to reluctance to travel there will be only 7 of us, this year, and on top of that some want to have my extended-family-wide famous lasagna. So, I was shopping for an 8 pound turkey. Three big stores later, I came home with a 12 pounder. I have a feeling there will be excellent sales on large turkeys in a couple of days.

Lasagna is great! Have a great time 1SG Steven Imerman Alot of our family members are staying in, so I’m actually welcoming whomever stops by. My bro and wife were happy to come over, plus I put out the invite to a number of solitary people who have no one to celebrate with. May get some “turkey plates to go” later on.
