California doctor fired after writing letter questioning county's coronavirus lockdowns

The virus continues to mutate and spread. In fact there are reports that it has become more contagious and spreading faster. Locking people up in homes will not stop it. Nobody can control a virus.

MSgt (Join to see) - Quarantining has worked. However, it must be done properly. If we all wore masks, socially distanced, and practiced frequent hand and surface washing, we could slow the spread. I have been working in education and this year has been challenging. We have implemented great procedures and our schools have been able to remain open. It is a daily battle to keep children to wear masks properly, wash hands frequently, and social distance, but it is working. We have had cases every week since school opened, but with excellent contact tracing (mandatory seating charts school wide to include cafeteria and consistent groupings in gym classes) we have managed to keep it in check. I do know of many families who have had COVID cases as well as several deaths.
