1SG Russell S. - who said anything about eliminating history dealing with slavery? Please read exactly what I wrote, and don't add your mistaken ideas about history to it. Nothing I said related to "cancel culture", it related to honoring people who committed treason. The examples I gave were the same: Cromwell overthrew and beheaded the king; Lenin and company executed the tsar and his family, and Young took up arms and fought the United States Army in the 1850s.

Although I would keep Ft William C Lee (Father of the Airborne) to Ft Bragg. He was born, raised, and died in near Dunn, NC; just a few miles north of the installation.
