Staying silent about this...Watch the narrative will be well she was part of domestic terrorism storming the Capitol building...some of the comments online are already saying she got what she deserved etc...well my comments are what is the difference if them peacefully protesting and the peaceful protest in the Northwest where they attacked federal and municipal buildings and set them on fire with cops inside, took over a city block, and burned and looted all around? The only difference is this was in their face and not in a report on their desk. NOW I am against any form of violent protest from anyone but to me there is no difference from this and Portland et al.

She is a master instigate but no one ever condemned her. Do you think maybe Party Affiliation has something to do with it? No chance, just ask a Liberal and they will tell you the truth, it's all the fault of President Trump.

SPC Michael Duricko, Ph.D - Sadly the left do not understand the concept of "double standard". Biden flies his son around on Air Force II selling political influence like hotdogs at a ballgame and no need to investigate. Trump asks for a favor to look into possible corruption and its time to impeached with no need to investigate. The list goes on and on. As well there is the lying - the left and media understand that repetition is the key to making a lie the truth in the eyes of history at least their arrogance lets them think so. This was the real reason why established politicos left and right feared Trump - ending the fleecing of America for the almighty dollar. I'd love to see legislation that prevented politicians out right or in blind trust to profit more than their already generous salary.

You go against the Secret Service or the Protective Service Bureau, you will get shot. I am unsympathetic over her poor life choice.

MSG (Join to see) - Don't do a whataboutism to excuse this behavior. What has happened in the past from different groups does not provide any insight on this atrocity (and yes it's an atrocity that people stormed a federal capital building that you and I are tasked with defending against such actions).

You all reel at "Antifa" destroying things and being against BLM because you don't want to see normal operations change. I get it. This doesn't change how history will remember this. It was an attempted coup to stop of our normal democratic process. Trump Supporters lost ,and had to be poor sports and poor players to the game that they wanted to force their own change. That is no better than Antifa or BLM when they destroy property. It is inexcusable. And guess what? It's also a federal crime, because regardless of your beliefs, or theirs, the FBI is now arresting many of those who breached the capital building. You reap what you sow.

Just as Trump supporters have touted against their political rivals, you don't like it, you can leave. Except that you can't, nor you wont if you could anyway. SO both you and LTC Shuttleworth, thank you for your prior service, but it's clear that you are excusing crime one-sidedly because it most likely aligns with your own political views, which we as service members are supposed to be impartial. Luckily, since both of you are retired, your services are not required, nor do we have to plan any risk assessment of you not doing your jobs in case Trump Supporters attempt another sedition in this country's capitol, because they lost the vote.

It isn't a whataboutism or excusing the criminal acts of people who invaded the Congressional building, it is about drawing a comparison of those on the left who refused to condemn the violent atrocities that have been committed countless times just over the past year. Riots that caused 100s of millions of dollars, police officers who were attacked, some who have died. Federal buildings that we are tasked to protect along with those inside.

Liberal leaders and liberals on RP including yourself have refused to condemn the criminal actions of left wing groups such as ANTIFA and BLM. These actions were also insurrections even if you refuse to admit it. It has nothing to do with normal operations, it was an attempt to force a change in political policies through intimidation, destruction, and violence
Federal Prosecutors have been charging them as well.

By comparison, No conservative leader, conservative main stream media, or conservatives on here have defended the actions of those who broke into Congress.

It is true that what happened this week will go down in history, it is also true that the many violent riots caused by liberals will also go down in history.
Rest assured, liberals can't help themselves. They will riot again no matter who is in office. It doesn't matter the reason, they will invent one if nothing else. You will still be on here ignoring the criminal acts.

As for my retirement from the military, I am enjoying it. I worked hard and diligently, and was away from my family for a very long time. Maybe one day you might make it there as well.

As for my other job, I have 34 years in law enforcement. I know a little bit about the law. One thing I know is legal definitions and how they apply to the law.
You state a coup was attempted. That is false. Look up the definition of a coup some day instead of listening to talk radio or reading about it on a social media.
You will notice that the US Attorney General has begun criminally charging people. You won't see Treason as a charge. You may see sedition, but that is due to the Statute being rather broad which includes disruption of government and destruction of Federal property, the same charge ANTIFA and BLM could have been cited with for their attacks on Federal Courthouses and other Federal properties

As for risk assessment, your superiors need to schedule you some remedial training on the military pledge. It cites "against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic". There is no exception clause for terrorist groups such as BLM or ANTIFA

In the Breonna Taylor case, the search warrant was not for her drugs. The search warrant was based on information that a former boyfriend of hers was having packages of drugs sent to her house and then he would pick them up.
