If the majority were Black and Brown they would not have even gotten on the steps.

SSgt Ray Stone there is an unspoken rule about defeating city hall, you can't. Guns and laws are not going to change the hearts of people or prosecute those who should be prosecuted. It is going to take the willing cooperation of people.

This is why I said two years ago its a bad idea to make claims such as "Not My President" or to encourage this idea of resistance as it sets the ball in motion for the escalation of violence. The left stirred the pot for two years - resisting - and are now feeling experiencing the blowback in imbracing such tactics. Regardless of color those supporting extremist ideologies are working overtime to start a civil war.

It wasn't long ago the the radical left was in D.C. burning down the city and rioting chanting - ""No borders, no wall, no USA at all."

SSgt Ray Stone - J20 was no picnic. 234 people, including activists, journalists, medics and legal observers, were arrested during the protest and charged with felony inciting to riot, rioting, conspiracy to riot, destruction of property and assault on a police officer. Twenty of the people arrested pleaded guilty to lesser charges, and another 20 had their charges dismissed. In December, just days before Christmas, a jury found six of the defendants not guilty. In a hearing last Thursday, the prosecution dropped all charges against 129 of the defendants, leaving 59 remaining defendants to stand trial, including one journalist. That's only 1 in 4 arrested facing serious charges.
Not saying it is the same - but the J20 "climate of justice" helped to foster the idea of rioting in DC. With everything there is a cause and effect - as with the J20 I expect similar criminal charges as 13 individuals were arrested.

As well you can't have it both ways - saying the prosecution of dissent is wrong yet call to prosecute individuals dissenting. Either arrest, charge and convict or don't for all on both sides not one.
