*Disclaimer* I am well aware that this is not "every Republican. This is for "If the desert boot fits..." group...
Is this what so many of you think? Do you all honestly believe that Donald Trump was one of the most vilified, derided, and persecuted presidents EVER? Do you all honestly believe that Donald Trump was nothing more than a repeatedly kicked puppy left to the whims of his opponents when "he was only trying to do the right thing" and "was never really given a chance?"
Before you answer that, were any of you alive during the Obama administration where he was constantly maligned for such things as:

Wearing a tan suit
Eating Grey Poupon on a hot dog AND
Having a selfie-stick in the Oval Office?

I will agree that he has been treated worst than most Presidents (at least during my lifetime), but I'll also add that I certainly think it was justified. Plus, that harsh treatment started way back during the GOP primaries, and it continues all the way up to the present day. It's certainly not unique to his time in office. The only difference is that the people originally vilifying him are not the same ones now vilifying him. First, it was most of the members of the GOP. Then, once all of the GOP fell in line behind him, the mantle was picked up by the Democrats. His harsh treatment transcends time and is not limited to the opposition party.
