Old 2018 Atlantic article that concludes that acknowledging and fixing the issues of social injustice that is the best strategy to countering Russian propaganda

LTC Eugene Chu Interesting, but in my opinion your interpretation of the article is off base. One of the things that the article sidelines is the disparate view of the two different opinions about the outcome of what happened to the Blacks that went to the Soviet Union. And it is really off base by only using the agricultural ploy/gambit to shadow stoke tension.
And it (the article that you present from The Atlantic) finally at the end makes the following point: "This time, Americans can stop blaming the Russians and look at ourselves for what we do to fan the flames—to a far greater extent than the Russians ever could or do. “If there’s anyone to blame, it’s us,” says Sipher. “If we accept the stoking, it’s our fault.”"
Notice that this contradicts your assertion, while the rest of the article supports it by the way it is written and by the information deliberately left out that would have served as a counterpoint.

There are many articles or treatises available that show more than just the idealized viewpoints. You could start with articles or treatises available on/at JSTOR.

It comes down to knowing your adversary. I sure hope our leaders are paying attention.
