What is "Trumpism"? And when has the GOP supported it? Honestly, I haven't a clue...

Trumpism is simply the worship of Trump. AKA what the GOP has adopted as its new platform.

James Anders - That's some worship service they have there. I even see their leadership jumping on the bandwagon to impeach him. With friends like those, who needs enemies...

CPT Jack Durish - To be fair, the GOP has not benefitted from "leadership" in a long time.

GOP is not going to lose libertarian support because of Trump and many that voted for Trump are not the radicals the media makes us out to be. I would have voted for Biden in 2016 and if he had ran then, it would not have been as close a race as it was in 2020. Biden makes us all feel a lot more comfortable in how he talks to people and everything about his presence is better. Being a country with debts in the trillions, I do not need a friend I like on top. I am tired of Allies not putting into their defense budget what was agreed upon and the US being expected to keep them safe. I am not a fan of people being able to drive around a wall and then get free health care when we have millions of Americans living on the streets. Trump is a business man and there is a reason you do not do business with family. Biden is a politician and they are good at making you want to be part of their family.

We do not support NATO to keep allies safe - that is a ancillary effect. We support NATO to keep us safe.
