I watched that earlier, those vehicles are really rolling for as icy as it is.

The only thing I can figure is since there is no median, they are on an elevated section of highway. The ground was warm enough that there was no ice and everybody was doing 60-70, then they hit the elevated section which was iced over, and all hell broke loose.

!Sgt Jim Belanus- I saw another view on another site. That is what happened, it was an elevated section of highway. They were doing great until they hit the section with no earth underneath, just cold air, and then it was FUBAR.

lots of trucks, those drivers are suppose to be pros and should have been ready for the ice.
