If Biden is capable of critical thinking, I recommend that he engage his brain right now. This potential action is a really bad idea.

Well that would fast track a civil war if he is going for that. It will rip the country apart. And if he tries to use the military I think it will rip the military apart too. Of course field grade and Flag grade officers will threaten soldiers with UCMJ action but I do not think the guys that matter are going to be intimated. And that's combat arms guys. You going to get a bunch of signal, supply and clerk and jerks to enforce your will that will not work. Most military people understand their first order of business is to protect the constitution against all enemies and an executive order like that an attack on the Constitution.
