Manage assigned account moves from beginning to end providing full move management, to include counseling shippers on entitlements, which will require familiarity with GSA’s Household Goods Tender of Service (HTOS).

Responsibilities

Coordinate the household goods moves for specific Government Accounts making all the arrangements with agents and vendors to insure complete customer satisfaction, while maintaining the profitability levels as set up during the rate filing process Targeted annual workload of 350-400 moves.
Provides counseling to U.S. Government employees to insure 100% compliance with Household Goods Tender of Service (HTOS), FTR’s Government Statements of Work (SOW), Agency policy and Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) directives.
Ensure that all files are processed and billed in a timely manner. Taking care of setting up charges accurately in the system to insure that vendors are also compensated in a timely and accurate manner. Settle invoice exceptions via cost research, comparing quoted rated to invoice and tariff rates. Negotiate with vendors and agents to settle discrepancies.
Serve as a liaison between the Government Accounts to insure the integrity of the service being provided, as well as grow the business.
Client problem solving and client interaction on day to day. Maintain contact with Government agency personnel
Work in conjunction with the Manager, International Government, to identify, develop, sell and implement process and relocation policy improvements and initiatives to further support government client’s mission and to maintain or increase client profitability.

Qualifications


· -Industry experience (freight forwarding, import/export) preferred

· -Minimum 5-year customer service experience required

· -Strong communication skills: both oral and written with proper business etiquette

· -Strong negotiation skills

· -Strong analytical skills: understanding of a basic P&L (Profit & Loss) statement

· -Effective problem solving skills

· -Knowledge of world geography

· -Organization: time management, setting priorities, deadline oriented

· -Results-oriented

· -Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· -Multi-lingual a plus
-Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience.

-Knowledge of U.S. Government Tender of Service preferred.

-Experience with moving and counseling U.S. Government employees preferred
