One of my sister-in-laws has been waiting over 20 years to get water to her house. Her house was built in 1998. She got electricity in 2016. Still waiting for water.

Unbelievable in this day and age people are allowed to build without what we consider basic human needs, then I need to make myself remember that sometimes this is what the person wants and there's nothing wrong with that.

SFC (Join to see) - You should have seen what she was living in before. The tribal government built the home for her as it does for many in the nation.

I have a professional friend that is Navajo. We usually teach a week long class every year. Last year got cancelled because of the virus, we exchanged a few emails to tell me his family was OK when the virus was hitting them pretty hard last year. I noticed over the years some parts of his life back home he won't discuss. He will speak when he is ready.
