A couple things really jumped out and it says more about the author of this opinion piece than it does to anything else:

"Donald Trump succeeded, in part, because he co-opted America’s Republican Party and used a complicit right-wing media eco-system to propagate his lies and conspiracies, which were readily consumed by a legion of diehard followers." ... "...propagate his lies and conspiracies..."

"His supporters remain active on social media – peddling in conspiracy theories about the election, and getting their information from more fringe, hyper partisan news sources such as One America News Network and Newsmax." ... "...hyper partisan news sources..."

Obviously, this author has not learned why Trump's supporters should not be ignored. And with this current Presidency, the ranks are growing.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Wow. Just wow. Guide that storyline where ever you want. So, Syrians are now part of the Aryan Nation - gotcha. Typical of a leftist to find the loose definition that fits their narrative. Glad you are comfortable speaking with a forked tongue. Jeeeeez-us!

I don't know. Never thought about it. Don't really care. I do not, and have never, categorized by pigment. I know what boxes I need to tick when filling out paperwork. I know this because I know my ancestry - English/Scottish/Irish. If you want to call me by a color I highly suggest you use green - a swift green amphibious blur.

One of the greatest lines I ever heard was in Red Tails:

When I was born, I was black,
When I grew up, I was black,
When I'm sick, I'm black,
When I go out in the sun, I'm black,
When I'm cold, I'm black,
When I die, I'll be black,

But you,

When you're born, you're pink,
When you grow up, you're white,
When you're sick, you're green,
When you go out in the sun, you go red,
When you're cold, you go blue,
When you die, you'll be purple,

And you have the nerve to call me colored!

Labels! Labels everywhere! The Democrats LOVE their labels. You appear to push labels. And I'll tell you what labels I give to the Boulder shooter, or the Atlanta shooter, or Sandy Hook, Littleton, Parkland, or any of the other several score of shooters in the last 30 years - murderers. No other label is required or needed. One of the highest crimes with the most sever punishments yet the Left, the MSMs and Social Media want to blame anything else EXCEPT the facts. This latest shooting has already gone from "white, right-wing extremist" to "he was bullied by white, right-wing extremists". Labels! Narrative!

I am sick and tired of the narrative drowning out the facts. George Floyd was a very sad incident. The city, during jury selection, paid off the family. Politics! The CITY declared the cop guilty BEFORE the jury was fully selected! Sickening! Absolutely sickening.

This guy in Boulder is a murderer. Now it is up to the judicial system to cleanly prosecute while the defending side does everything it can to cast doubt - regardless of the truth. And all the while the left is banging their hammer to outlaw guns. Take that next step. But what I do imagine is there are 10 people WISHING there was a CCW person in the store that day. I say imagine because those 10 people are dead.
