What is bad is this whole thing was a set up from the get go, preselected reporters, set questions but he still came off as looking bad. I almost felt sorry for him.

My favorite was a question about legislation to allow victims of gun violence to sue people who had nothing to do with it. Old Joe's answer was about fixing the US's failing infrastructure.

I don't have a problem with the President using crib sheets when he's in public and expected to speak. Everybody knows that many journalists are hoping the President will be off in some fact. If the President misspeaks, HOLY COW!!!! 25th Amendment, the president has dementia. Whoooop Whoooop Whooop!!!!

Anytime I was speaking to a senior and there was hard data to discuss, I had that data on a crib sheet. Cuz the boss don't like made up/guessed at numbers, if you know what I mean?

No issues using notes. Most speakers do. However, "Biden was seen consulting a sheet that appeared to show the pictures and news outlets of journalists who attended his news conference. Some of the pictured reporters had a circled number next to their images".
Plus a limited number was allowed to attend. And he was asked a question about gun control and started talking about infrastructure. The whole thing was staged.

MSgt (Join to see) - Perhaps I've grown too cynical. I wasn't even a twinkle in my Dad's eye when Truman was President, but may Dad swore up and down the Truman was the last President that didn't manage every every word and every image when speaking to the press.

The thing I liked best about President Trump was that he didn't give a damn what his handler's wanted him to say. He was gonna say what he had to say come Hell or high water.
