It appears our friends up in Canada are just as screwed up as we are here in the US. Natural Gas is the reason for the environmental gains we made in the United States over the last 20 years. The Intermittent Energy (Renewable Energy, solar, wind) folks want to lump natural gas in with more polluting forms of energy. They are wrong, in my opinion, just as they are wrong about the percentage of Intermittent Energy that can be used in the electric grid, with it still remaining stable.

We need good environmental laws. But, we don't need environmentalists who use the environment as a means to affect the social construction of the nation. I saw that first hand with the protest camp for the Dakota Access Pipeline. Just a bunch of wannabe granola eaters and earth firsters who think singing around the campfire is going to amount to anything to make this world better. I have no use for the lot of them.
