There is nothing "inspired" or "special" about the KJV. Jesus and the Apostles didn't speak Elizabethan English.

I agree and word usage has changed. Prevent used to mean “ to go before”. I grew up with King James.

Good afternoon. Many thanks for posting this. I personally use NIV but have a KJV as well. Both are great ti read and study from. I also agree that any Bible translation that changes the meaning of the original, or worse deletes verses, need to be exposed as the uninspired word of man.
